Turkey is becoming a popular destination for international students studying

The quantity of international students on undergraduate and post graduate programs in Turkey has grown on 59 % for the last 5 years. In 2011-2012 there are studying 25.500 students from 147 different countries. As on 2006-2007 there were just 16400 students.

The major part of international students represents CIS countries, Cyprus, Turkmenia, Iran, Bulgaria, Germany and Greece. They are mainly studying in Anadolu University, Istanbul University, Middle East Technical University and Istanbul Bilgi University.

Istanbul Bilgi University is a temporal institution with programs in English language located in Istanbul.

University is a part of different international organizations, such as European University Association (EUA), International Association of Universities (IAU) and Laureate International Universities – an international chain of 100 universities all over the world.

3 campuses of Istanbul Bilgi University are located in the very heart of Istanbul and won awards for architectural design.
