In the Russian rating of the selection of the countries in which Russian candidates would like to get education the leaders are the English-speaking countries: UK (15%) and USA (11%). The most desirable countries are also Germany (8%), France (4%), Italy (2%). 61% of the candidates were doubtful on the question.

Selecting the country for emigration Russians usually choose Germany (13%). The second popular country is USA (10%). 12% of non-patriotic and 9% of patriotic Russians would like to leave for the overseas country. The most popular countries are also France, UK (5% each), Canada, Italy, Spain (4% each), Europe on the whole (2%), Australia and Israel (2% each).

Selecting a country as a place for work Russians usually mention Germany and USA (15% each). Leaving for those countries to get a job is more desirable for non-patriotic citizens (21 and 20% respectively). The most popular countries for getting a job are also UK (6%), Italy (4%), France (3%), Spain, Canada, Scandinavian countries on the whole (2% each).
