Nova Scotia (Canada) Government initiative to entice students to stay in the province after graduation

In order to entice university and college graduates of deficiency specialities to stay in Nova Scotia after graduating the province is investing СAD 400000 to provide 50% subsidy for the first 3 months of employment up to a maximum of CAD 7500. The following speciality graduates could get the subsidies: ocean technologies, financial service, IT and aerospace.

One of the most popular educational centres in Nova Scotia is ICEAP (International Centre for English Academic Preparation), based on Cape Breton University (Sydney), offering Bachelor and Masters programs in the specialities: Science&Technology, Arts&Social Science, Business.

ICEAP offers English language preparation at 9 levels. Each level lasts 8 weeks, tuition – from СAD 2780 per level. Accommodation is offered in host families or in the – from СAD 450 per month.
