Istituto Europeo di Design offers a rich catalogue of master courses tailored to those who want to work in the arts field. Exclusive and unique courses addressed to post-graduate students, professionals and consultants aiming to specialize in the world of art market and cultural entrepreneurship, as well as Arts Management, Event and Museum Curator and Restoration.

Italians are known as the best restorers in the world. Following this tradition, IED Venice and the Academy of Fine Arts Aldo Galli, in Como, offer an unique Master's Degree – First Level in Conservation and Restoration of modern and contemporary art. The course - held in Italian - provides the tools for a proper understanding of the profession of restorer, stimulating innovation and research for new intervention strategies in contemporary art. The first semester is held at the Academy of Fine Arts Aldo Galli, in Como, with frontal lectures, technical workshops and training. The second semester is held at the headquarter of IED Venice and will include workshops with testimonials, visits and project/internship in several partner organizations. The Master in Restoration starts in January 2013, and is recognized by the MIUR (Ministry of Education, University and Research).

At IED Venice takes place also the first and unique Master in Business Administration for Arts and Cultural Events in Italy, starting in April 2013. Symbol of culture, art and commerce, Venice is the perfect place to specialize in the world of art market and cultural entrepreneurship. The objective of this exclusive course is to provide advanced knowledge and entrepreneurial skills necessary to deeply understand and successfully operate in the multifarious world of art. Designed for post-graduate students, professionals and consultants already working in this field, this master is held in English and has a duration of 500 hours (10 months full-time classes).

For those who want to work as Arts Manager - a key role in public as well as private institutions - IED Florence offers a Master in Arts Management with a unique itinerant formula: 12 months full immersion interdisciplinary course, starting in April 2013, and completely held in English. The study plan is divided in the two prestigious locations of Florence and Rome in partnership with the major cultural institutions like Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi and Galleria degli Uffizi. In collaboration with the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, students will participate in a one-week workshop in Venice. They will visit the main institutions and meet the Peggy Guggenheim’s professionals. With this Master, IED forms a professional for cultural institutions, involved in art project management, capable of identifying innovative content, of structuring a comprehensive event schedule, of planning and developing fundraising events and resource management. The Master in Arts Management caters to all graduates in Arts and Humanities specialising in Art or Performing Arts, Communication Sciences, Cultural Heritage, Academy of Fine Arts, Architecture.
