The list of the best Community Colleges in California was published recently by Andre Joaquin Castillo (US Presidential Management Fellow). The ranking was arranged on the basis of transfer statistics to the US universities. California’s Community Colleges system is the biggest in the USA and consists of 112 colleges. The best colleges are:
1. Foothill College – transfer ranking is 62%. College offers more than 500 courses and is situated in Los Altos Hills town not far from san Jose and San-Francisco.
2. De Anza College – 61% of students transfer to universities. De Anza College is situated in the heart of Silicon Valley 45 miles away from San Francisco.
3. Santa Monica College – transfer ranking is 60%. The College was established in 1929, about 30000 students study there on 80 courses and specializations.
4. Irvine Valley College – transfer ranking is 59%. Comfortable and modern campus of this College will be a best place for studies.
5. Ohlone College – transfer ranking is 58%. College enrolls 20000 students every year to more than 190 programs.
