29.05.2013

Student of Open World Education Group - Irina Burmistrova’s is studying now at European University on MBA in International Marketing Program, here is her interview below:

Why have you chosen Barcelona and European University?

European university is known as one of the best business-schools of Europe. This region is closely connected with Russia in cultural and economical way.

What is the difference between Russian and European education?

Russian education gives students fundamental knowledge in different spheres, but it is too far from reality. European education is more practically oriented. Besides, multinational staff of tutors can help us to use different methods and theories in our studies.

How are the classes held in the University?

Classes are very intensive. Tutors use not only classical methods of teaching, but also presentations, work in groups, case methods. Our teachers are real experts, they teach us how to manage the business. All the subjects are closely connected with each other.

What countries have your classmates come from?

My group consists of 30 students за more than 15 nationalities: Germany, Austria, France, Italy, Poland, Serbia, Bulgaria, Brazil, Turkey, Indonesia, Syria, Moldavia, Kazakhstan and Russia.

You are studying at Barcelona first year. Please tell us about your life in the city. How do you spend your free time? Is the adaptation easy for you?

The adaptation period passed successfully! It is not my first experience of living in a foreign country, so I had no difficulties.

In spite of intensive studies and homework I had a time to explore Spain.

I visit museums, theatres, places of interest, spend the time with my group at the weekends, travel around Barcelona.

Open World Education Group is an official representative of European University in Russia.
