From 2014 Russian students have got a great chance to get post-secondary education in one of 225 best rated Universities in 27 countries of the world, including USA, Great Britain, Canada, Australia, Germany, and other countries, at the expense of program of financing Russian citizens - Global Education Program.
Program will last for 3 years: 2014-2016. The approximate number of participants is 1500 students.
Participants’ requirements:
- Citizen of Russian Federation
- Student enrolls to a program listed himself (it can be Master, Postgraduate study, Internship program)
- Student is ready to come to Russian and work in one of leading Russian companies after graduation
Pathways of studies:
Engineering, science, education, medicine, social management. The whole list of programs is approved by Observant counsel of the program and published on the program website.
The size of the grant and its usage:
Limit for 1 participant is 1 380 000 RUB (about 27000 USD) including:
- Compensation of tuition fees
- Compensation of additional fees (up to 690 000 RUB per year), including:
Transfer to the place of study, Accommodation, Medical insurance, Books, Meal plan
After graduation the student comes back to Russia, chooses the company from the list and gets a job.
The list of employers consists of 529 companies, including 300 Russian companies, such as Rostekh, Rosatom, Rosnano, RUSAL, SIBUR, Kaspersky Laboratory, and others.
