Escuela Superior de Diseno e Ingenieria de Barcelona (ELISAVA) offer Summer program "Public Transport Design in Smart Cities" in English. 16 June – 15 July 2014.
The course consists of the study of public transport design in Smart Cities, from the perspective of an integrated project and through the development of a practical case.
This course will cover a complete transport design project from its conception to the services and products realization. During its execution, the habitual tools for the development of design projects of this sector will be used.
Programme:
• Urban mobility
• Stakeholders: public and private
• Typologies of vehicles and means of transport
• Systems: infrastructures, communications and auxiliary elements (street furniture)
• Product design management.
• Development of a public transport project
The price for the students is 1.900€, covering the academic program and the services in Elisava (computer rooms, student rooms, general facilities in the school such as wifi connection),
an optional accommodation plan (in shared flats, for around 550€/student)
This summer course can be interesting for any of the Universities that have Faculty of Transport, for sure, the experience in Barcelona would be extremely great (could be prepared a specific touristic plan and activities for the group).
